Built by the Amish of Lancaster County and overlooking the lake, our stunning Lake Pavilion must be one of the prettiest places anywhere to have your Ceremony as well as one of the most flexible! Whether the Ceremony is held outside or in, is ultimately up to the Registrars, and if there is any chance of rain, it is cold or even windy they may well insist that it is held indoors.
At Minstrel Court however, things are different! As far as we are aware we are the only venue in the country whose outdoor Ceremony area is all weather. This is because, although other venues cover the Bride and Groom, guests are usually in the open air at the mercy of the elements. We have a guest area with a full roof, a hard floor (wheelchair accessible) and Glass walls – it is in effect a conservatory so the registrars have always been extremely flexible in agreeing to hold outdoor weddings whatever the weather!
In addition, as well as being heated, the Pavilion itself which holds the Bride and Groom, the Witnesses and the Registrars has glass panels can be folded down so you are truly in the open air!
The whole area has a PA so we can control your choice of Ceremony music as well as microphones for the Registrars and any guests doing readings so every word can be clearly heard!
